EFA Meeting and Congress in Halkidiki, Greece
October 20-22

Around 150 professionals in the field of Road Safety participated in the EFA Congress in Hotel Sani Beach, Kassandra, Greece.
The most far away participants came from Hong Kong and Iceland. Large groups were noticed from Greece, from Germany with 40 delegates and Belgium with around 20.
The theme of the Congress was “New Driving – Less accidents” and among the speakers we found representatives from the Greek government as well as European researchers, representatives from the car industry, driving teachers and others. The board of EFA wants to thank our Greek member association POEEOAM and our colleagues Mr. Lekkas and Mr. Michailidis for a fantastic work with the congress.

The congress was visited of more than 150 professionals from all over the world. In the first row from right to left, Mr. Julian Tse from Hong Kong, Mr. Robert Kotal from Praha and Mrs. Ute Landsberg from Munich´.

Mrs. Sonja Sporstoel, Secretary-General in CIECA, offered EFA an associated membership in her organization.

Mr. Lekkas, the chairman in the organizing Greek association POEEOAM, performed Greek dancing.
