EFA Position Paper on the new Driving Licence Directive
During the EFA Extraordinary Virtual Meeting in early July, the EFA Board officially presented the Position Paper on the new Driving Licence Directive. The draft of the document was presented to the members in February 2023. After the modifications requested by some members, the document was finally approved during the extraordinary general assembly of EFA.

ITS Congresses 2024
The 30th ITS World Congress in Dubai is organised by ERTICO – ITS Europe, in partnership with the European Commission, with the support of RTA Dubai as the host.

The Parliamentary Advisory Council on Transport Safety (PACTS) is calling on the government to align with EU rules on pedestrian safety (GSR).
A new PACTS briefing – Still-unvaccinated-GSR-one-year-on-2023 – supported by the all-party parliamentary group (APPG) for transport safety, calls for action to be taken as soon as possible. It seems that the government fails to get more safety and economic benefits of leaving the EU.
