ITF Motorcyclists Event
Save the date: 9th-23rd June 2021. Motorcyclists Safety Workshop: Riding in a Safe System.
The International Transport Forum, the Swedish Transport Administration, VTI, the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM), and the motorcycle manufacturers associations (IMMA and ACEM) are organising the event on motorcyclists ’safety. EFA will take the floor to the event on June 16th in the “Training, education and licensing” session.
AV-Poland Event
Save the date: June 7th. The second conference AV-POLAND organized by the Motor Transport Institute aims to exchange scientific knowledge and expertise on technical, psychological and legal issues related to automation in transport. The goal is to raise public awareness and prepare the society for the safe and efficient use of autonomous and connected vehicles. EFA will present the work done into EU project Simusafe.
CIECA General Assembly
The CIECA 2020 – 2021 Annual Report which provides information on all the activities that CIECA organized from September 2020 to May 2021 is now available You can find information on important issues for the development and operations of our organization, especially those details which refer to the functioning of the organization while the Covid-19 pandemic, and the new CIECA Strategy that will define our goals in the upcoming years.
ANIECA Exams Center
EFA visits Private Exam Centers in Portugal. A role model for many other countries. Fernando Santos, the President of ANIECA (the Portuguese driving school association) explains how the system works.
STR joined EFA

PEP meeting
During the works of the Austrian PEP meeting held on May 12th, EFA members presented some of the latest news in the world of driving licences, focused on deleting the restrictions of Code 78 from driving licence B.
The German colleague Kurt Bartels presented the latest news on driving licence B197. During the work of the next EFA Delegate Meeting on 8th June, Mr. Bartels will present how it works the B197 driving licence.
